NC Update #1

11th Annual Boudreaux Classic

The 11th Annual Boudreaux Classic will take place the weekend of November 17-19, 2017 at eNeRGy Kidz in Raleigh, NC.  Information has been posted to the Competition Page as well as below for the competition.

  Entry Deadline:        Ensure you adhere to the dates below
  • WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11th – an electronic copy of your entry form must be emailed to Benji Stern
    •  A copy of the entry form can be found on the NC Men’s Website
  • FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3 – A hard copy of your entry and payment must be received.
    • No fees will be accepted at competition.
    • Checks should be made payable to: NRG
  • FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17 – After this date, no refunds will be given even with a doctor’s note.  Until this date, a refund will be issued at 50% of individual entry only with a doctor’s note
2017 – 2018 NC Head Tax Due

The NC Head Tax is due for any male athlete that will be competing at anytime during the 2017-2018 Competition Season.  If you add additional athlete later in the season this fee should be sent for that athlete at that time.

Head Tax Form and Check Due no later than Wednesday, November 1st

  • Head Tax Fee – $25.00 per athlete (voted at the 2017 NC State Championship to raise fee)
  • Fee and Form Due – Wednesday, November 1st
  • Payable to: USAG – NC Men’s (Club Check only) –
    ***Please make sure to put club name in the memo of the check
  • Mail Check To: Benji Stern, 5400 Atlantic Springs Road, Raleigh, NC 27616
  • Head Tax Form: Please complete the online form for your club.  Information gathered will help to update email list, phone numbers for myself, and directory.
CGJA Judging Course

The CGJA Judging Course will be held the weekend of October 28-29 in Matthews, NC.  Any coaches and returning judges who plan to judge during the 17-18 season, must attend this course.

  • Course Registration: Must register through the NGJA website for the course prior to attending.Also all necessary documents can be found there as well.
  • Schedule – Saturday, October 28 (12:00pm – 8:00pm – JO Optional / FIG), Sunday, October 29 (9:00am – 4:00pm – JO Level 4 – 7)
  •  Course Cost:
    * Taking the Test to Become a Judge: $25.00 online registration paid online (NGJA Dues) + $35.00 on site fee (local dues) = $60.00
    * Auditing the Course (Not Certifying this year): $20.00 on site
